BRAKING : Brock Purdy demand doubled of his salary or part way with team via NFL compensation program

When evaluating quarterbacks in the NFL based on output rather than salary, Brock Purdy of the San Francisco 49ers is arguably the finest value. The gap between pay and output, however, is a little less absurd now because of one NFL program.

Purdy fared fairly well according to the NFL’s annual performance-based pay distribution data, which were announced on Monday. The scheme, which attempts to provide low-paid overperforming players with additional money based on their playing time and wage numbers, will pay the 49ers quarterback $739,795 as part of it.

Even if Purdy isn’t the top 49er on the list—cornerback Deommodore Lenoir is—it’s still a significant pay increase for Purdy. Considering that his base compensation from the previous season was only $985,000, the additional check will increase his income by about 75%.

In a year, Purdy will be qualified for a new contract, which should resolve any outstanding debt. When he was drafted, he had a financial mishap, but this will lessen it until he eventually has the opportunity to sign a huge contract.
