BREAKING:Minnesota Vikings Reportedly Offer $262 Million for Pro Bowl Quarterback in..

One of the more interesting teams going into the NFL Draft is the Minnesota Vikings.

The Vikings’ plans for their starting quarterback in 2024 have been the subject of numerous rumors ever since they allowed Kirk Cousins to go and sign with the Atlanta Falcons.

After the New York Jets selected him in the first round of the draft, Sam Darnold was signed by them. He has since been a backup for a few teams, and there has been conjecture that Minnesota will start the 2024 season with the former USC standout.

The Vikings are rumored to trade up to choose one of the top four quarterbacks available in this year’s NFL Draft class. The Minnesota Vikings are rumored to have given UBC signal caller Drake Maye a high grade, and JJ McCarthy, a quarterback from Michigan, has been compared to Kirk Cousins as a pro-ready talent who might fit right into Kevin O’Connell’s scheme right away.

James Dator of SB Nation offers the following potential trade package to acquire quarterback Justin Herbert of the Los Angeles Chargers, a one-time Pro Bowler:

On April 2, Dator noted, “The No. 5 pick feels like a pivot point in the class.”

Thus far, it has been assumed that Minnesota would select Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy as their choice, provided that Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels, and Drake Maye are declared ineligible. But let’s pretend for a moment that the NFL Draft is a complete mess. More appropriately, suppose Jim Harbaugh goes with chaos.
