REPORTS:Ohio State football player refutes transfer portal rumors due to latest…

College football currently uses a transfer portal. The Ohio State football team successfully navigated it throughout the summer, acquiring a number of key players. Naturally, when that occurs, other players feel that they are being replaced, so they usually quit and head for the portal.

There have been rumors that one gamer will be moving once the portal opens on Monday. Quarterback Lincoln Kienholz is that player. Kienholz was a four-star recruit who was a part of the 2023 recruiting class. He didn’t play a much as a freshman the previous year.

Kienholz played only a significant role in the Cotton Bowl following Devin Brown’s injury. However, he wasn’t very good when he was in there. Three new quarterbacks have entered the room, and they all appear to be ahead of him in the depth chart.

Rumors had been circulating that Kienholz would consider moving to Iowa, but he appeared to dispel them. To refute the claims, he posted a pretty straightforward reply on social media.

That one tweet appears to refute any speculations that he’s leaving. To be really honest, though, I think it might be in his best interests to transfer. The quarterbacks for the Buckeyes are quite skilled. They will still have Julian Sayin, Air Noland, and incoming freshman Tavien St. Clair on the roster after Will Howard departs in 2024. Devin Brown might also be.

The Ohio State football team has a packed room there. It cannot possibly continue that way during the upcoming season. I’m not sure how the room is resolved, but when the gateway opens on Monday, we might find out.
