According to reports in Spain, Liverpool player Luis Diaz is open to joining Barcelona should the Spanish team be able to reach an agreement with the Reds.
The 27-year-old Colombian international has contributed five assists and 13 goals to Liverpool’s success thus far this season.
European powerhouses Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain have taken an interest in Diaz.
Additionally, it has been mentioned that Liverpool may try to raise money for the next window by selling the player.
The winger is wanted by the Catalan giants, but they are currently having financial difficulties.
If Barcelona is able to sign Diaz and reach an agreement with Liverpool over money, he would be willing to join the team in the summer, according to the Spanish daily Mundo Deportivo.
Diaz’s contract has three more years left, thus Barcelona will need to spend a lot of money to get him from Liverpool.
In his 97 appearances for Liverpool thus far in his career, the winger has scored 24 goals.
