Suns and Grayson Allen finalize a new deal after Allen’s best season yet

Guard Grayson Allen and the Phoenix Suns have agreed to a multi-year deal that will keep him with the team after the best season of his NBA career.

ESPN says the deal, which was made public on Tuesday, is worth $70 million over four seasons.

Allen, who is 28 years old, scored an NBA-high 13.5 points per game on average and made 46.1% of his 3-point shots. He was one of the few players on the team who always played the same way. While All-Stars Devin Booker, Kevin Durant, and Bradley Beal got used to their new roles, he kept the floor open and shot from long range.

The No. 3 seed Minnesota Timberwolves will play the No. 6 seed Phoenix Suns in the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

Allen told the press, “I love being in Phoenix and believe in what we can do here.” “I want to thank Mat Ishbia and the group for welcoming me. I’m excited to promise to stay in this community for a long time and keep growing with this team.

Allen is in his sixth NBA season and has played for the Utah Jazz, Memphis Grizzlies and Milwaukee Bucks. He went to college at Duke and played basketball there.
