Josh Allen, the quarterback for the Buffalo Bills, takes part in the ‘117 Holes for Childrens’ fundraiser

Josh Allen, quarterback for the Buffalo Bills, had a busy Tuesday.

He left before the sun came up to play in the “117 Holes for Children’s” fundraiser tournament at Crag Burn Golf Club.

He then proceeded to Orchard Park for practice.

He returned to Crag Burn after practice to participate with 17 other players and relay teams in a daylong event that lasted from dawn to twilight and involved 117 holes in order to raise money for Oishei Children’s Hospital.

With the event still going strong, $775,000 has been raised for the Patricia Allen Fund.

After Bills supporters started making donations to the hospital in Patricia Allen’s memory after her passing, Oishei revealed intentions to honor her in November 2020. Patricia Allen was Josh Allen’s grandmother. Josh has a relationship with the hospital and has been a longtime supporter.

The establishment of The Patricia Allen Fund and the Patricia Allen Pediatric Recovery Wing on the tenth floor of the hospital were among the initiatives planned to memorialize Patricia. Josh was shown the wing in October 2021.

Josh Allen’s agreement to donate $117,000 was publicized by Oishei before to the ceremony on Tuesday.
