Real Madrid has a transfer agreement in place, with Liverpool targeting a move worth over £42 million.

Leny Yoro has garnered transfer interest from Real Madrid, Liverpool, Bayern Munich, and Manchester United as he enters the final year of his contract with Lille and prepares for a departure.

Real Madrid has already reached a transfer agreement with Liverpool target Leny Yoro.

The Champions League champions have established themselves as the defender’s preferred destination if he leaves Lille this summer, according to Spanish media reports. However, a move for Yoro is contingent on if Los Blancos veteran Nacho moves to the Saudi Pro League this summer.

The 34-year-old might yet prolong his time at the Bernabeu, with an offer for another year in the Spanish capital on the table until the end of the month. If Nacho completes a move by the end of June, Real will take steps to use Yoro’s talents right now, and if not, they may attempt to facilitate the move in 12 months.

Yoro’s arrival is regarded as significant as Raphael Varane’s in 2011, and the La Liga club hopes to use the same strategy to land the 18-year-old that was successful with Jude Bellingham. Los Merengues aim to use Yoro’s agreement to use the defender to signal to Lille that he wants to go to the Spanish capital and is willing to wait 12 months to do so.

The French talent has one year remaining on his contract, but Lille still has high expectations. A sum of up to £50 million has been proposed, although Real Madrid is hoping for a figure closer to £34 million.

However, his autograph has sparked a lot of attention. Liverpool, Manchester United, and Bayern Munich have all been connected with the transfer.

Lille are claimed to have rejected a £42 million approach from Liverpool, while United’s ambitions may rest on their ability to get Everton’s Jarrad Branthwaite. Lille president Olivier Letang has previously indicated that Yoro will be able to leave the club this summer.

If Nacho leaves Real Madrid this summer, the club will be left with only three veteran central defenders: Antonio Rudiger, Eder Militao, and David Alaba. The latter is still rehabbing from an anterior cruciate ligament injury and will most likely not be ready for the start of next season.
