Going to an NFL game is not cheap, but the Houston Texans are making it much more affordable than most.
It’s not cheap to attend an NFL game. Tickets for the Houston Texans alone range in price from $53 to $385, without including taxes and fees, which can cost anywhere between $100 and $400. The less expensive seats are really high up, and if you’re anything like me, you’d rather remain at home and watch the game than pay hundreds of dollars for a subpar view.
However, attending a game is a lot of fun. While it may be less traffic and significantly cheaper to watch from home, you may lose some of the communal feel that attending these events provides. Thousands upon thousands of fans simply hooting and yelling as the Texans hit the field and dominate; it’s an unforgettable feeling.

The Texans are not only among the lowest-priced vendors, but they are also significantly lower than the average beer price. The NFL average is $9.56, so getting a beer at the Texans’ NRG Stadium is $1.56 less expensive.
Few stadiums in the NFL provide such reasonable (comparatively) rates on items as the Texans do. So, if you’re bummed about the price of beer, realize that it could always be worse. If you supported the Eagles, you could end up spending nearly twice as much.
