Rafael Nadal makes a huge announcement

Rafael Nadal is diligently preparing for the Paris Olympics in Mallorca, balancing his training with his business ventures.

Renowned for his tennis academy on the island, Nadal is expanding his influence globally by opening new academies. The latest addition, surprisingly, will be in Albania, as confirmed by Nadal and Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama during a recent meeting.

The new Rafa Nadal Academy will be situated in the coastal town of Durres and will adhere to the high standards of Nadal’s other centers. The facility will feature 12 tennis courts, 6 padel courts, a multi-sport field, a gym and wellness center, a swimming pool, and a restaurant. Additionally, it will house a shop and a museum showcasing some of Nadal’s trophies and memorabilia from other sports icons.

The Rafa Nadal Academy’s official account expressed excitement about this expansion: “We are pleased to announce a new destination as part of our international expansion. We will open a Rafa Nadal sports center in Albania! Vamos!”

Meanwhile, Spanish captain David Ferrer has confirmed Nadal’s participation in the upcoming Paris Olympics, hoping to replicate his previous successes in Beijing 2008 and Rio 2016. Nadal plans to compete in the ATP 250 Bastad tournament, held on clay, a week before the Olympics to gain competitive rhythm and confidence.
