Buffalo Bills: Promising CB Emerges as Biggest Surprise at Minicamp

**Buffalo Bills Update: Kaiir Elam Impresses in Offseason Camp**

During the offseason, players who haven’t yet solidified their positions on the roster often strive to stand out and make a significant impact. For Buffalo Bills cornerback Kaiir Elam, this period has been crucial.

**Buffalo Bills Update: Kaiir Elam Shines in Training Camp**

ESPN’s NFL analyst Alaina Getzenberg reports that Elam has been a standout in Buffalo’s spring minicamp. Despite being the 23rd overall pick, Elam has not yet met the high expectations set for him. However, this offseason, he seems determined to change that narrative:

“Elam looked like he took a step forward and stood out throughout the offseason, including with multiple interceptions. The 2022 first-round pick has been a backup for the majority of his first two years with injuries playing a part. He now has a new position coach in Jahmile Addae and got plenty of time on the field during the offseason with cornerback Rasul Douglas not at the team’s voluntary sessions and corner Christian Benford excused from mandatory minicamp for a family issue. Elam has a big camp ahead to continue to show what he can do with Douglas and Benford the favorites to start,” Getzenberg wrote.

Elam has capitalized on the absence of some of the more established cornerbacks on the team. While he may not immediately overtake Douglas and Benford for a starting role, his performance in training camp could significantly bolster his case.

This situation presents an interesting challenge for new Buffalo cornerbacks coach Jahmile Addae.
