Carlos Alcaraz continued his title defense with a straight-sets victory over Aleksandar Vukic at Wimbledon. The defending champion initially faced challenges from the unseeded Australian, Vukic, who had previously defeated Alcaraz in French Open qualifying four years ago. Despite being broken twice while serving for the opening set, Alcaraz managed to regroup and force a tie-break, which he dominated to turn the match in his favor.

Reflecting on his performance, Alcaraz expressed satisfaction with his play, especially highlighting his strong performance in the tie-break of the first set. He acknowledged the tough challenge presented by Vukic but maintained a high level throughout the second and third sets, securing the win comfortably. Alcaraz now looks ahead to facing American Frances Tiafoe in the next round, anticipating a difficult match but expressing readiness for the challenge.
