Carlos Alcaraz remarked, “I have a great relationship with him as I do with many tennis players off the court, but nobody is my friend inside.”

“On the field, you have to worry just about yourself and your chances of winning against your opponent. In addition to being a fantastic tennis player, Frances is a wonderful person who enjoys herself both on and off the court.

It’s going to be a great game, and I’ll do everything in my power to win. This is an amazing man who always tries to put on a show. Us Open in 2022? The context will be very different from where we were at his place, so it will be a little different here.

I hope that things won’t go the same way this year because we had a wonderful match that ended in five sets that were quite close. Alcaraz responds, “I already found myself in this position, the last time at the Us Open I did not feel much pressure and I try not to think about it,” when asked about the pressure of being the current champion. Many things have changed recently; I now go to bed earlier and typically take more time to rest. I also try not to use my phone as much, which has been challenging for me (laughs). I want to give it everything I’ve got because I have certain challenges.
