When will Roman Reigns return for SummerSlam, Survivor Series, or a match against The Rock?

Since Cody Rhodes defeated Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania 40, Reigns has been absent from WWE, prompting speculation among fans about his eventual return.

Questions swirl around whether he might reappear on SmackDown, in a high-profile match against The Rock, or perhaps at Survivor Series.

Reigns had an impressive tenure as WWE’s Universal Champion, holding the title for approximately 1,200 days and participating in numerous headline matches. However, following his loss to Cody Rhodes, Reigns has been notably absent from the ring. This absence stems from his decision to adopt a reduced schedule in early 2022 to prioritize family time, a move he discussed in detail during a recent interview.

The demanding nature of professional wrestling, which involves extensive travel and constant performances, was a major factor in Reigns’ decision to scale back. His revised schedule now allows for more personal time, a crucial consideration for someone balancing a demanding career with family commitments.

Reigns previously took time off in 2020 due to leukemia and its impact on his health, which further underscored the importance of family for him. With his children growing up, Reigns has emphasized the need to be present in their lives, which influenced his decision to adjust his WWE schedule accordingly.

Fans eagerly anticipate Reigns’ return, often chanting his name during WWE events. Given his absence and the emergence of Solo Sikoa within The Bloodline storyline, speculation points towards a potential return, possibly even at SummerSlam, where Solo Sikoa is rumored to challenge Cody Rhodes for the championship. The timing of Reigns’ comeback as a fan-favorite (“face”) remains uncertain, awaiting WWE’s strategic decision.
