Jadon Sancho held a positive face to face meeting with Erik ten Hag

Erik ten Hag and Jadon Sancho have reportedly reconciled at Manchester United, aiming to put past conflicts behind them and focus on the upcoming season, according to recent revelations.

Sancho had been sidelined from the Man United first-team following a heated altercation with Ten Hag last season, leading to his loan return to Borussia Dortmund during the January transfer window. A permanent departure seemed likely this summer, with Dortmund and Juventus expressing interest in signing him.

However, positive developments have emerged as Samuel Luckhurst reports that Sancho has resumed training with Manchester United following a constructive meeting with Ten Hag. Fabrizio Romano corroborates this, highlighting a productive face-to-face discussion where both parties clarified their positions ahead of the new season.

Sources indicate that both Sancho and Ten Hag have agreed to ‘draw a line and move on’ from their past dispute, signaling a potential reconciliation. Further reports suggest that Sancho is leaning towards remaining at Manchester United, although it’s unclear if the 24-year-old has formally apologized to the Dutch manager.

Pre-season plans include Sancho’s participation in upcoming friendlies against Rosenborg and Rangers, followed by matches in the United States against Arsenal, Real Betis, and Liverpool. This marks a significant turn for Sancho, who joined Manchester United for £73 million in 2021 and has since amassed 82 appearances across all competitions, scoring 12 goals.

During the previous season, Sancho’s opportunities with Manchester United were limited to three games, contrasting with his more active role at Dortmund where he played 21 matches and scored three goals during his loan spell.
