West Indies cricketer Sherfane Rutherford writes a heartfelt note after her mother passes away

Sherfane Rutherford, a cricket player from the West Indies who played in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, announced the death of his mother on Instagram. He sent a touching and sentimental letter to his late mother, Mama Karen, and included family photos. Sherfane called his mother, to whom he was very close, “the best mom anyone could ever have asked for in this lifetime” in a post.

In the post, Rutherford also called his mother as “the best mom anyone could ever have asked for in this life time.” “RIP Mama, I wanna start by saying that you were the best mom anyone could ever have asked for in this life time. You was such a humble, loving, caring person. You who made me who I am today because of your teaching, and I must say thank you, and the big pretty smile of yours will be surely miss,” he further wrote.

“You were such a darling, but in life I learn that god always has a better plan for you and that every thing in life happenss for a reason. So much things you had told me you want to see me achieve but unfortunately you wouldn’t be here to see it. But I promise you that you will be looking from heaven with a smile to see me do everything and more in this lifetime. I love you mom sleep in perfect. We truly will you Mama Karen,” he further added.
