He participated in 17 games for them, a career high, and his stats were absolutely enormous. He had the most tackles of his career—68—coming his way. “But you mean to tell me that there are 64 starting corners that are better than me out of 32 teams? That’s not how I see it. I believe teams should sign the top players if they want to succeed. In this league, I am aware that I am still a rookie. We had a while,” Gilmore said. “I started games last year, but the season doesn’t start until September.
