Updates on every injured player from the Rams training camp

The Los Angeles Rams’ training camp has already been significantly impacted by injuries this summer. Fans have been concerned about a number of players who have suffered injuries of varied severity, including some key starters.

There has been some rearranging on the depth chart as a result of injuries to players like Derion Kendrick, Alaric Jackson, and Jonah Jackson during the first two weeks of training. Below is a list of all the noteworthy injuries suffered by the Rams, along with an update on each player.

Injury: Torn ACL; Season-long absence

Given that Kendrick’s injury occurred during the first practice of the camp, it was the first serious setback. He tore his ACL and will miss the entire 2024 season as a result of being placed on injured reserve.

Ankle injury; status: day-to-day

Jackson did not practice on Monday after causing a hamstring strain. He was not allowed to train on Tuesday or Wednesday, so it’s not sure when he’ll be back. It’s promising that Sean McVay didn’t appear to be too concerned about it, though.

Scapula bruised; approximate recovery time: six weeks

With a shoulder injury, Jackson left practice early on Tuesday and exited with the coaching staff. He did not practice on Wednesday, and he is expected to miss approximately six weeks due to a scapula bruise. Although the season is less than six weeks away, there’s a chance he’ll be ready for Week 1.

Injury: Groin; Status: Persistent

Turner sustained a groin ailment during offseason workouts that he carried into training camp. He’s done individual exercises and walkthroughs, but he hasn’t yet engaged in team drills during practice.

Injury: Toe; Status: Getting Better

Dotson has been practicing ever since he suffered a toe injury last week, which required him to leave early. Regarding his future condition or health, there simply isn’t much reason for alarm.

At the beginning of training camp, Higbee was placed on the PUP list because to his ACL and MCL tears sustained during the playoff game against the Lions in January. He might not be ready for the regular season to begin, but if he’s still on the PUP list when the roster is finalized, he will miss a minimum of four games.
