All-Pro Wide Receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown Gets Clapped Back by Jourdan Lewis

The Dallas Cowboys have been a focal point of NFL discussions this offseason, particularly regarding contract negotiations for key players like quarterback Dak Prescott, wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, and linebacker Micah Parsons. Head coach Mike McCarthy’s contract situation has also drawn attention, with speculation mounting that 2024 could be his final season in Dallas.

Amidst these business-focused discussions, cornerback Jourdan Lewis recently found himself embroiled in a spontaneous feud with All-Pro wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown of the Detroit Lions, injecting a dose of football-related drama into the conversation.

St. Brown called out Lewis during a guest appearance on The Pivot Podcast, criticizing Lewis for his trash-talking during their previous matchup. Reflecting on their encounter in Week 17 last season, where the Cowboys narrowly defeated the Lions 20-19, St. Brown recalled Lewis’ provocative remarks on the field, prompting him to retaliate with intentions to outperform him in future games.

Lewis, a Detroit native, responded to St. Brown’s comments with a defiant Instagram post, expressing his dedication to his profession and dismissing any notion of camaraderie with the Lions receiver, who hails from Anaheim Hills, California.

The Cowboys and Lions are slated to face off again in Week 6 of the upcoming season on October 13 in Dallas, setting the stage for a potentially heated rematch fueled by the recent verbal exchange between Lewis and St. Brown.
