Dolphins OT Shares His Open Views Regarding Mike McDaniel

One of the most distinctive coaches and personalities in the NFL is Mike McDaniel, the head coach of the Miami Dolphins.

Miami has made the playoffs in back-to-back seasons for the first time in more than 20 years, in large part because of him marching to the beat of his drum.

Dolphins five times Pro Bowl left tackle Terron Armstead recently spoke with Up & Adams about his initial encounter with McDaniel upon his arrival from the New Orleans Saints in 2022.

“That’s my guy,” I said.He’s hilarious.He’s sincere,” Armstead remarked.

Although Miami has had five different head coaches in the past ten years, it seems like McDaniel can continue to give the club stability and consistency in his role for some time to come.

The reason why the 41-year-old is so popular with his teammates and coaches is that he is authentic.

It’s just one of the numerous factors that allowed the team to bring in a fantastic player in Armstead.

Before being hired by the Dolphins, McDaniels bounced around with four different clubs, including the San Francisco 49ers, after beginning his NFL coaching career in 2005 as an intern with the Denver Broncos.

The Dolphins, backed by All-Pro wide receiver Tyreek Hill and Pro Bowl quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, have one of the league’s most potent offenses going into 2024.

We have a great franchise as long as McDaniel is himself.
