Kevin Durant supports USA women’s team in 1st exhibition against Germany

Superstar Kevin Durant of the Phoenix Suns spent an additional day in London to cheer on the USA women’s basketball team as they played Germany in their first exhibition match.

Yesterday, the men’s national basketball team from the United States of America concluded its final two exhibition games at The O2 in London, defeating Germany 92-88. Due to a calf issue, Durant was unable to play in any of the team’s five exhibition games. It is also said that he may not be ready for the start of the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.

Durant’s former Golden State Warriors teammate and member of Team USA, Stephen Curry, watched the game with him courtside.

At the 2024 WNBA All-Star Game in Phoenix on Saturday, Team USA ladies fell short against the WNBA All-Stars.

This summer, Diana Taurasi, Brittney Griner, and Kahleah Copper of the Phoenix Mercury are all playing for Team USA, representing the red, white, and blue. The American women’s team is 70-3 all-time at the Olympics, having won nine gold, one silver, and one bronze. They haven’t lost since 1992.
