Raheem Mostert was astonished by one facet of Tua Tagovailoa last season

Tua Tagovailoa, the Miami Dolphins Pro Bowl quarterback, has surprised many people throughout his football career.

In 2018, he came off the bench to win the national championship for the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Despite dealing with concussions and ailments, he led the NFL in passer rating (2022) and throwing yards (2023) in different seasons.

In another surprise, Tagovailoa reportedly startled his teammates when he disclosed this offseason that he weighed more than 230 pounds before shedding 10-15 pounds.

Raheem Mostert, a Pro Bowl running back, recently went on the Ross Tucker Podcast to discuss this.

“I am stunned that he even said that number…”He’s actually looking nice. “I believe he’s in the best shape of his life,” Mostert remarked.

Miami appears to have something cooking on offense.

This franchise is on the rise after making the playoffs in consecutive seasons for the first time since 2000-2001 thanks to the play of players like Tagovailoa and Mostert.

They are now hoping to advance far into the playoffs.

They already had a terrific offense, with Tagvailoa throwing the ball to future Hall of Famer and speedster Tyreek Hill, as well as fellow 1,000-yard receiver Jaylen Waddle.

Earlier this offseason, the team made another statement by bringing in Odell Beckham Jr., a former three-time Pro Bowl wide receiver.

This Miami cast is stacked when you consider Mostert’s speed and production at running back, as well as stud De’Von Achane.

Don’t make the mistake of doubting Mike McDaniel’s team this season.

They are overly skilled.
