BREAKING:Leeds United Preparing Transfer Offer for Manchester City after…

If Leeds United is promoted back to the Premier League this summer, they are apparently prepared to try to re-sign Kalvin Phillips, the failed player at Manchester City.

The England international has had difficulty getting into the starting lineup at Man City and hasn’t left much of an impact since being on loan to West Ham United in January.

Nevertheless, Phillips was a standout player for Leeds for a number of years prior to his significant transfer to City, and it appears they would welcome him back for a second stint.

The Sun claims that Leeds will want to re-sign Phillips in the summer in order to get ready for life again in the top division if they win promotion from the Championship this year.

In order to receive more playing time, Phillips would undoubtedly benefit from returning to Elland Road. It will be fascinating to see whether any other clubs express an interest in signing him.

Despite having a minor role in City’s historic treble victory last season, Phillips will not have many memorable moments from his time at Etihad Stadium because he has hardly played.

Though the 28-year-old undoubtedly hasn’t lost his talent over night, Leeds would be wise to take a chance on him and try to bring his career back to life.

Although Phillips’ time at West Ham has not been successful, it is possible that he will feel more at ease returning to his first club. Either way, this is a story to follow in the coming weeks and months.

Given that Leeds are now the favorites to win the league this season, it is critical that they bolster Daniel Farke’s team with seasoned Premier League players to offer them the best opportunity of avoiding relegation, unlike when they were cruelly demoted the previous year.
